Research Summary
My research involves the mathematics of reservoir simulation and optimization, numerical methods for control and model reduction of large-scale systems, control of dynamical systems, robust reduced modeling with an emphasis on petroleum engineering problems, coupling surface and subsurface modeling, and drilling automation.
